Product Grading

Our products use the industry recognised grading system for military surplus clothing. All items not marked as either Grade 1 or Grade 2 are new.

Grade 1

Items that have been issued and returned to surplus that are in good condition. These items may have very minor repairs that are un-noticable. In most cases these are items that were issued but not used or used once. We check all our stock thoroughly to issue that it is at the top end of the range for grade 1 items. Other suppliers sometimes refer to this grade as suppergrade, however we try to ensure that all our grade 1 items are to this same standard.

Grade 2

These are items that have some slight signs of wear, or damage in a non prominant place. Although we tend to try and only supply Grade 1 or above, sometimes certain items may only be available at Grade 2, other times we may feel that some Grade 1 stock does not meet our high quality standards and is therefore sold at Grade 2.
