She is one of Japan’s most sought-after porn stars, but many are unaware of the dark side to the world of pornography in Japan. Saki Kozai is one of the first to come forward and expose this industry that deceives and threatens young girls to produce more XXX movies. Saki Kozai told how hard it was for her to get started in the world of the porno industry. She signed a contract thinking she would work as a model and on promotional videos.

On her first day at work, Saki Kozai discovered that they were neither promotional nor a modeling agency. The request was explicit: that I have sex in front of the cameras. Suddenly, she realized that she had fallen into the clutches of forced pornography, like many others. “I couldn’t get my clothes off. All I could do was cry,” recalls Saki Kozai. Refusing, however, was not an option. Production manipulated her to the extreme so she wouldn’t have a possible leak. “There were about 20 people around me, waiting. No woman could say no in such a situation,” said Saki Kozai.

A true story about sex and porn

Saki Kozai, now 30, comes out of the shadows to denounce the abuse and deception of the XXX industry. The majority, aged 18 to 25, are unaware of legal contracts and are under pressure to accept orders. Saki Kozai, a model turned porn actress, became addicted to tranquilizer pills, necessary to ease her anxiety. Also, the agency convinced her to cut ties with her family to focus on her career. A path that, in addition, lasts only a few years, since those in charge discard them quickly, preferring younger and more novice women.

“I was brainwashed. I could no longer make rational decisions,” says Saki Kozai. Although she managed to break her contract with the agency and sue her for the treatment she received, she continues to work as a pornographic actress in her spare time.

Proper use, proper consequences

A report by the NGO Human Rights Now listed the dirty techniques used by agencies and recruiters. The victims, who are promised a life full of luxury and fame, are often threatened with millionaire lawsuits after signing contracts with unclear words. In addition, they are assured that they will not be able to find work outside the adult entertainment industry. One of the cases that gained notoriety was that of a woman who underwent several aesthetic operations to escape from her past and planned to take legal action to stop the dissemination of her videos, but committed suicide overwhelmed by depression.

Of course, sex and pornography must be channelled in a healthy way or else they can become a problem, so from here we recommend everyone to be careful about the risks of sex, as it should be a cause for enjoyment and never the other way around.
